Fire Poi has a surprisingly large range of options for Kevlar wicks. Some differences are are obvious such as their shape or size, but there is more to it than that. Different wicks have different weights giving them a different feel in their flow. Differences in the type of wick can also attribute to burn time and overall life of the wick. Price is also another difference for types of wicks, depending on amount of Kevlar and intricacy of the wick shape both factor into the price. Finally another reason you might want to carefully select your wick is the shape of flame that is created.
