Different Types of Staffs

Staffs is actually a general term, there are a few different types of staffs in the flow community. Staffs come from the same family as batons, and devils sticks, but today I want to talk about the different types.

Contact staff Http://www.firetoys.com/. N.p., n.d. Web. 20 Sept. 2014.	contact Staff  This is the simplest of the staffs, which makes it a great one to start with. Simply a contact staff is a stick with weights on both ends for balance. Often this type of staff can be bought as LED or Fire.

Dragon Staff Dragon staffs are a lot like contact staffs, with only two differences,  first difference is the dragon staff also includes on both ends a ring of extra wicks. The extra ring of wicks makes this staff mainly sold as fire toy. The rings allow for a more breath taking flow dance as you play with it.
S staff Ignisshop.com. N.p., n.d. Web. 20 Sept. 2014.	S Staff S staffs come in pairs and unlike any of the other staffs they are not straight, they are in fact "S" shaped (woah, right?). Because of their shape and the fact that they are used in pairs flow sequences with S staffs vary greatly from sequences done with other staffs, clubs or batons.

Samjiegun Staff These staffs are like a combination of nunchucks and a staff. as you can see from the image to left , it resembles a contact staff except instead of being a solid stick it is broken up with chains. This allows for it's own unique flow.
